STICKY:
PvP strats
(Preview)
Some tips that I thought should be common sense: -Don't always have to blow sprint immediately, sometimes its better to pop it after the enemy so it lasts longer than theirs and guarantees you catch up (as a mrd, I cant slow or break their sprint). Also charging to their side can sometimes give them an ad...

Remember the fallen
(Preview)
As all of us are aware and deeply saddened by, the monster that is Square Enix and its evil dictator Yoshi P. have struck down yet another PvP-er in the prime of their lives. This thread will serve to memorialize those who have been lost due to SE's merciless acts of cruelty, so that their 360 noscopez and...

(Preview)
After disbanding my t5 fc, solo tanking t5 twice on a warrior bis and another warrior with pretty much full crafted gear weekly. Rank 30 killing people with one hand and two shotting them while smoking and watching videos without putting in effort, yeah there are some teams I can't destroy mainly caus...

The current state of PvP and what can be done to fix it.
(Preview)
The main reason for this is the gap between a new player and a rank 30. It's not even just the skill level difference of a 30 having more experience. The gear/ability gap between a rank 1 and a rank 30 is actually insane. Even between an ilvl70 PvP geared player and an i90 PvP geared player, the gap is crazy....

Consider this a prelude to the main event, probably finish up my "serious" montage in a few days. I cant believe I spent 10 hours on that shit today to only get 1 minute done (out of 12, LOL). This one's just a joke video, don't read...

4v4 Ladder System
(Preview)
Currently making a system for these forums where players from 4v4 teams can submit screenshots of their wins or losses, etc. and so we can rank them here. It'll be a little community project but it'll be better than having literally no incentive to do 4s atm.

Each PvP materia gives +2 resistance to a certain CC, but what does the +2 mean exactly? Does it mean a CC will last 0.2 seconds less. Does it mean there is 2% less of a chance for the CC to work? What is the exact metric per materia? The PvP materia is listed below. Cactuar Foot Materia(Slow Resistanc...

Morale discussion
(Preview)
Have any of the PvPers figured out how exactly Morale works? By that I mean, do you know how much extra damage you do to a target per point of morale, and how much less damage you take? If there was a way to test this out to completely figure out morale, I'd be down to test it.
