-Don't always have to blow sprint immediately, sometimes its better to pop it after the enemy so it lasts longer than theirs and guarantees you catch up (as a mrd, I cant slow or break their sprint). Also charging to their side can sometimes give them an advantage because its easier to set up good positions by the pillars their whole team is at, LOS'ing the your team's healer unless they come in or around their wall for sight.
-If you're gonna get slept, bound, etc. do it in a spot where the healer can esuna/leeches you without putting himself in a dangerous position. Don't run behind their wall and get slept unless you have anti CC up. Its also good to let them blow CC on you early by standing in the open, while still visible to your healer so that it gets put on DR. Only bads waste CC when its not necessary. -Spread out, enough to avoid getting hit all at once by a sleep or tri disaster. This is a skill necessary for twisters on T5. I hope everyone can do this instinctively.
-Theres an option for the log to display who kills who. This option also shows when people get rezed. Helps avoid missing a ninja rez. Don't remember what its called in options.
-Watch CDs and buffs. Mrd tend to pop Blood for blood, berserk, and raging strikes altogether before going ham. SMN need all their dots on you to get big festers.
-Positioning of players often determines what they are gonna cast. For example, the latency issue with Holmgang can cause terrain to split you and your target, so it is often not cast as the target is about to turn a corner. So as a healer, if you're obviously not gonna turn a corner, then be prepared to pop attunement/purify when the chain suddenly grips you. Although if they pop it and a wall splits you, then you're probably golden.
-Don't just stun shit randomly, or include a 2sec stun in your dps rotation for a little bit extra damage when its not necessary. DR's can be very long. Stun things to actually cancel something like when a caster pops pvp skills to be interrupt immune or surecast. Stun dps as they are about to burst (like when their dmg CDs are popped). Stunning something like a SCH before I get to him to burst him will make my stuns suck nuts. Instead of a 4s stun followed by a 2 sec stun, I get a 2 then 1. If they are geared enough, they can blow enough heals to survive the burst after my puny 3 sec stun. So be careful what you shoulder tackle/stun jump to.
-I know the latency blows, but you can LOS abilities if you know they are coming. Hug walls to make this easier. If you're about to turn a corner and you see your target has already popped surecast/swiftcast to try to sleep you, just wait till it drops and pillar kite. Surecast drops off after the cast begins, so if he has to cancel it because you're no longer in sight, he loses it. You can then shield lob to cancel the next one.
-Don't LOS your healer, and pay attention to where he/she is at all times. This can be hard to manage at first, but practice makes perfect.
Pug stomp strat:
MRD PoV
1. Make healer focus target, have dps assist you in hitting a dps. 2. Have someone sleep the healer (Phazed) 3. Watch sleep on focus bar, Wait till he pops purify. 4. Pop all dps CDs, all switch to healer 5. Chain Stun and burst the healer down before he can pop attunement 6. Profit
Will add more strats when more i90 teams are out there. Need to play against more real players to make legit ones, otherwise its all speculative theory craft.
some thoughts about 4s teams:
mrd/drg/blm/whm - cc + burst. pretty dangerous team for obvious reasons.
pld/sch/smn/mnk - good utility. with good sleep resist could be a strong set up.
sch/brd/drg/mrd - all out offensive sprint at the other team with runspeed song. scary burst team. wish i could try it.
many others im sure... add thoughts below

Yeh I actually tell alot of tanks not to stun, even though my stun is shorter there is a specific time i use it in my rotation to instagib the healer. When I use to run Emiliya the MRD, the one other rank 30 on my server we would communicate on teamspeak exactly when he would stun. For example fully buffed and just before I hit a life surged full thrust I tell him to stun, this followed by an enhanced jump off gcd and whatever skill hes using is usually enough to instagib 90% of healers we faced. It usually went like Holmgang 2 hits from me, 2 hits from him stun, fullthrust jump dead.
So yeh it is very plausible to kill someone within the stun duration with a geared MRD and DRG if the stun timing is communicated.
Also like you mentioned above, with a DRG MRD team, what we use to do was have me sprint a few seconds ahead of the MRD and have him hang back a sec before sprinting, I would then pop fetter ward and because I was the closest target to the blm or healer, they would usually blow their sleeps on me first to no avail, pretty much being a CC shield for the MRD.
