I've been seeing teams stacking 4 slingers / 1 medic in my time on queuing and for good reason to. This is the *only* setup I know of that successfully has the potential to global people in a knockdown. It's absolutely ridiculous, speaking from a healer's perspective. Tie that in with an MS when cleanse may be on CD for about 2s and you have unhealable damage.
Some people on Beta were calling that setup 'exploiting'. After this weekend's run, I understand why...
Eh... I'd say Stalker is a little underpowered(I'm speaking strictly low level battlegrounds here.) A stalker's main source of damage comes from impale, which you can do 3 of before you run out of "suit power". IF you hit all 3 from behind while stealthed you can take about 50% of their hp, IF you hit all 3 that is, but after that your damage is terrible. Maybe better for arenas or at higher levels. I have researched and see they get some better suit power regeneration at the higher levels, which was my main issue playing in low level bgs this weekend. I think Slingers are pretty retarded right now and need a nerf. You see premades running almost all slinger because they know how ridiculous it is.

do they get better regen? my focus recovery rate is pretty horrible at the moment too
Yeah actually, right at this level, level 18 I get a move called punish which should help suit regeneration. What this moves does is gives I believe 30 suit power if I'm below 20 suit power or something like that. At later levels tier 8 Shred will give me 2 suit power per second for 5 seconds.

why do i have the feeling stalkers will be op at 50
Lol, actually I read on the Stalker forums that they are very strong at 50. Also right now there is a bug where you can't use Brutality Mastery and Battle Mastery AMPs at the same time(confirmed bug.) However, when the bug is fixed stalker are predicted to be pretty OP.
Skill > Class it seems. I've seen some terrible Slingers, some good Stalkers, and have never been beaten by another Warrior. Yes, playing the OP class will improve your numbers, but it simply comes down to how well you play.
Also, Arena and BGs are totally different and so are the classes at max level, etc.
Hats OP.
