open broadcasting software

I've been thinking about recording swtor gameplay and I came across a program called open broadcasting software (OBS)... what are your thoughts, is it safe and is it good to use? just wanted to know

Best one to use is FRAPS. I don't have much experience with OBS, link?

I have been considering FRAPS problem being is I don't have much exp. with it nor do I have a pay pal.... so yeah there's that

I use OBS, it's pretty good for a free program and much better than xplit's free version
