This group would supposedly be self reliant but also have good players for interchangeable groups

As long as they are self reliant I have no issue with having a group 4

I'm down with having 4 groups. Are we talking about that mass batch of transfers or are we talking about organizing people sitting on the sidelines?

If it's the latter, I'd like to know who is interested in raiding that is currently not in a group so I can get down to organizing it and getting it off the ground.

We're talking about a local group that expresses interest in joining. They need guidance and would like to intermingle with our different groups to get experience so that their group can stand on their own.

There are a lot of people who don't need gear from coil anymore; I think we could probably move people around so that new people can get experience with each turn.

Example: for turns 1-4, group 1 trades 1 dps and 1 healer, group 2 trades 1 tank, group 3 trades 1 dps. This way, each of the groups could still reliably clear the easy turns and group 4 can get some people experienced in the fights. And if the people traded to group 4 for the week don't clear 1-4, it wont matter to them because they don't need the loot. This would obviously be entirely voluntary.

If group 4 wants to make progression on their own, then this shouldn't happen. I'm just thinking about possibilities.

As long as the first 3 groups are in a strong position I don't see any problem with it adding a fourth, especially if it's a self contained group.
