This was utter bullshit. I'm actually pretty pissed off. Especially considering Final Fantasy XIV is going to support 3rd party programs... How the hell did it read it as a Final Fantasy XI service account? I don't understand.
Edit: I guess they consider addons and 3rd party programs to be different things.

This notice is to inform you that we have suspended the FINAL FANTASY XI service account registered to this e-mail for the following 3rd party program violations on 10-01-2013. Every account action we issue is based on conclusive evidence of a violation and is reviewed for accuracy.
Longnu Era:i was parsing Longnu Era:im doing 30 more dps than 2nd place Longnu Era:im parsing Longnu Era:gear only means so much Longnu Era:this fight is about dodging
Super lame. These things should be based on intent. The intended use of the program causes no harm to the community or the games fairness or balance. All its doing is recording stats.
So... just got off the phone with their customer support and they said that they do not have access to the chat logs. In order to get a suspension revoked one has to contact a GM in game. So... if someone is suspended they're supposed to contact a GM in game to dispute their suspension? Retarded policies. So basically the suspension is just supposed to be waiting out the full duration of your suspension and THEN you can talk to a GM in game, not during the suspension to actually get it revoked. They also suspend you without solid proof so they can conduct an investigation to get their proof....
