This is either a horrible joke or a signal that hollywood has learned nothing from society's lampooning of the tim burton batman "bat-nipple" era of stupid campy bad actor bullshit. Either way it is now completely safe to ignore any and all DC comics movie related news and, more importantly, DC comics movies.

 

AKA they've decided the tone of their movies will be less christopher nolan batman and more green lantern/superman returns.

 

It's a good day to be a marvel comics fanboy.

I think we are underestimating him! I think he will be pretty decent :) Ben afflek is a great actor

Not that I like Ben Affleck or anything... but he was pretty decent in Argo.  He is not an awful actor, and I think he does have some potential.

I just see too much of Clooney in him. He's too baby-faced, too likeable. Plus he already played a superhero, DareDevil, and he did a terrible job with him. DareDevil and Batman aren't too far apart in terms of tone. Maybe Zack Snyder can save it but there were far better choices than Affleck.
